Op Incidents:
8 (including 1 of TrOp) incidents were noted during the month, with loss of 79.80. 1 incident in IOG, 1 in IOG, 1 in TOP and 5 in MTG. All the incidents have been reviewed and the countermeasures have been implemented to avoid similar mistakes. Similar to last year, the number of operational incidents tend to increase during the vacation seasons.

Notable Business Vol Changes:
(1) MTG - Daqily average volume for August 2006 was 12,825 with dollar value of 59 billion as compared to August 2007 which was 13,386 with a daily dollar value of 67 billion representing a volume increase of 4.37% and a 14.28% increase in dollars.

Finalize task completion and all the preparations for Sept 10th deadline for oprations transfer from West Coast branches to ODA. ODA group heads visited LA again from Aug 6th to 11th to discuss further details.

MTG participated in the Liquideity Contingency Drill, pledging of collateral and Discount Window borrowing on 8/21.

Action Plan for Sept 2007
West Coast Operations takeover is planned to start on Sept 10th.

Bess 16.0 upgrade project is ongoing currently. User testing will be the week of 9/10/2007.
