Graphic Tees 2012 – WESC Design
This graphic tee by Swedish clothing design and retail brand We are the Superlative Conspiracy (WESC) has a line drawing of a human heart. It’s superdope.
Graphic Tees 2012 – Paul Smith Design
We’re cleaning out the closet at Global Graphica HQ to make room some new gear. So we’re parting with yet more beloved graphic tees and documenting them with a short series of pix and posts.
Included in the set are t-shirts designed by Paul Smith (below), We are the Superlative Conspiracy (WESC), Build by Wendy, and Icelandic artist Jón Sæmundur, who hand-prints his “bird” images onto American Apparel tees at his Reykjavik studio called Dead Gallery/Studio.
The Paul Smith shirt pictured below is one we bought in Kyoto, Japan in 2009.

Cool New Balance Kicks
Awesome, limited-edition New Balance sneakers worn by one of the dudes working at Blue and Cream, a select clothing shop on the Bowery in downtown Manhattan.

Giorgio Armani Pop-Up Sunglasses Shop
The live-video installation and pop-up store for Giorgio Armani eyewear in the Meat Packing District during Fashions Night Out, a massive global retail event that coincides with New York Fashion Week in autumn, when designers’ Spring/Summer collections are shown.

Future Chic Eyewear at Mykita
Mykita is a maker of high-quality, high-end eyewear. The company has built a much-loved brand around the design and manufacture of edgy, stylish hand-made frames that sell globally to a loyal following. (We have to admit, we are among the brand’s devotees, with a couple of pairs of Mykita glasses already to our name and, perhaps, another set.) Below are a couple of futuristic pairs of eyeglasses in the display window showcase at the beautiful flagship Mykita boutique in the Scheunenviertel neighborhood of Mitte, in Berlin.

Moschino Display Window
The beautiful, playful and whimsical “From Italy with Love!” display window at the Moschino shop in the Meat Packing District in downtown New York City. Love the giant tomato, ravioli and pasta.

WTF, Mismatched Shoes?
We’ve been working with an awesome brand strategist recently on a series of integrated marketing projects for a acclaimed luxury-fashion agency and their client.
The brand strategist a sharp dude, but has been working realy, really long, crazy hours lately and one morning it showed: He came to the office wearing mismatched dress shoes.
The fine Italian leather shoes were the same color, but clearly, as the picture demonstrates, were of a different pattern – the pair was comprised of a left and right shoe from two different pairs of footwear.
At a short distance (or in low-light, early-morning semi-darkness), one might not see the difference, but up close, it’s obvious.
Perhaps a new style is in the making? Uh … we won’t hold our breath just yet.
(Thanks, J., for sharing!)

Dope Summer Shirt
Snapped in the Meat Packing District of New York City, we saw this dude with a dope tee. We hate this fella’s overall style (it’s just not to our taste), but we love the orange tank top with the leaf graphics on the back. It would be a good after-surf shirt, worn nicely while cupping an icy tumbler filled with a caipirinha near the beach in, say, Leblon, Rio de Janeiro. We’ll take one of those, please.
